TerraSentinel

Satellite, drone & ground-truth intelligence for mine-site water safety.

TerraSentinel is a monitoring system in active development that correlates subsurface ground-truth data, tailings dam instrumentation, and downstream water signals in one place — built on the principle that ground truth comes first, and remote sensing extends it, not the other way around. A field data-entry tool and a live pilot dashboard already run today; site data is still entered by hand while the satellite and drone automation are being built out.

The full picture, in four parts.

A quick way into each piece of the story — the problem this addresses, how the approach correlates its data layers, what's actually built so far, and who's behind it.

The problem

A widening gap

Global freshwater demand is on track to outstrip supply — and a documented pattern of Copperbelt tailings incidents shows exactly how sharp that gap already is.

The approach

Four layers, correlated

Ground truth first, remote sensing extending it — an alert only means something when the layers agree, or disagree in a way worth a physical look.

What exists today

A working pilot

A field data-entry tool and a live dashboard already run on real, manually-entered data. The automated layer on top is what's still being built.

Founder

Built on years in the field

Years of core drilling across the DRC, Zambia, and Botswana sit behind TerraSentinel's starting premise — ground truth decides where a borehole gets placed.
